On Choices

As i walk away
From these walls that
Breed mediocrity.
Shunning the destiny
which almost forced itself
upon me.
I look back for a moment,
At those lying faces,
at the faces being lied to.
I see confusion and wonder.
I see contempt and envy.
The last vestige of fear, indecisiveness
bid me farewell.
Ah! to be in control,
thus carefree.

Finally! The clouds of your minds are clearing and the sun is peeping out looking at the bright beautiful world. Doesnt the sun realise that it is the one making the world a bright place. It was always your choice. I am happy that you have finally recognized it. I wont write a reply poem to you for my poems belong to some one else now. But what the hell! This is not a pencil portrait, this is a rainbow! You dont need me anymore and I couldnt have been happier. Stay like this.. forever
