Déjeuner Du Matin

Poem By Jacques Prevert

On the lap of their mother
Their body is like a feather
Feels the drought, cruel weather!

Their eyes shed no tears
Mothers are weary of many fears
So much distress across years!

Shocking images of devastation
Farther go beyond their nation
They need more than donation.

Times are tough everywhere
But it's urgent to act fair
So as to stop that nightmare!

Comments about Déjeuner Du Matin

Very important poem. Perhaps as poetry writers we should unite and make websites against hunger.

Rappelle-toi Barbara
Il pleuvait sans cesse sur Brest ce jour-là
Et tu marchais souriante
Épanouie ravie ruisselante

An orange upon the table
Your dress on the rug
And you in my bed
Sweet present of the present

Cet Amour

Cet amour
Si violent
Si fragile
Si tendre

Quel jour sommes-nous
Nous sommes tous les jours
Mon amie
Nous sommes toute la vie
