One Hundred Thousand Trees Worth Of Love

I wrote you
a 100,000 trees worth of love.

The trees eager
to become

pages

to hold the words
that held the love

words like Arctic explorers
trekking across vast whiteness

to arrive
finally at last

at the horizon
of your love

only to find
you had moved
the North Pole of your heart

or I was on the wrong
continent.

All the words
like some doomed expedition

perish.

I wrote you a forest
(a bloody forest of words)

just to think
(it breaks my heart)

all those trees
dying for nothing.

Couldn't see the words from the tears...I was laughing(and crying) so much at the wit, love and humour of this. love GinaXXX
You just crack me up with your off the wall viewpoints that are just such unique takes on things. I love the way you see the world and how you can laugh at yourself...I love the spin you put on things and how you change things into things of wonder. love Dee Dee
