One Window Is All I Need

One window is all I need
With curtains striped in blue and white
A window pointing towards my street
As the horizon soaks up the last of the light
One window is all I need
Wishing I could knock all the buildings away
A one-dimensional world behind glass
Cardboard landscapes to end the day
One window is all I need
A feathered prison, safe behind bars
Patiently waiting for lights to turn colors
Just another night of watching cars
