Or So It Would Seem

Poem By Animosity Drowning

You're just a memory attached to a face
a far off wonder as to why I even cared
(Just a muse, or so it would seem...)
You're nothing to me
Just a necklace and a ring
I still carry them around
I wear the necklace
(only because it looks good with my outfit)
I'm dancing on stars
They're colorful and bright
Are you dancing on the sand where you are at?
(Maybe the bullets from your gun will dance with you)

I wished for love

The Subtleties Of War

He told me what happened when he was in the desert
He told me that he watched a little boy run in front of a tank
That little boy... I have a little boy...
His mother ran to save him, but it was too late.

Walking On The Soldier Creek Trail

Walking to my father's house today
With my son in his stroller
This trail is littered
It is abandoned

Inappropriate Title

So this is where I break
My final destination
And I'm stuck here
You came into my life

Ruthi's Poem

Sailing by unconscious of life
Like a fantasy that isn't real
There's no pain, there's no strife
All this pain inside that I can't feel
