Oregon Little Spotted Owl

Would you fly over to another tree?
I don't want to hurt you, I just need to cut some trees so I can
feed my family.
I think God made trees for both you and me.
I had to go to Nevada to work so I could feed my family.
Little spotted owl, I am so homesick, I miss my son so, whose
growing tall, I miss watching him play ball,
I miss my little girls hug each night,
I miss mama something fierce too, and each night I feel so blue.
Little spotted owl, I don't want to hurt you.
I have logged trees all my life, I don't know what else to do.
So little spotted owl, couldn't we just share the trees, so I don't
have to leave home to feed my family?
