Pacific Days

Washing the barrier reef, the Coral sea,
Brings fresh nutrients to the coral blooms,
Chrysanthemums in splendour
Where fishes of deep orange, blue

The shallow water here is a pale azure The deeper cobalt merging into indigo And stays so colour fast for a thousand Miles and more as we sweep eastwards The seas of the West have a deeper, lovely azure shade You have painted a beautiful seascape as if you have seen all those underwater sights with the eyes of a scuba diver! I too have a great fascination for the sea! Lovely write, Tom

This is a great poem. It is almost if you were there by the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea. Well done, my friend! I can't believe you said it is just a dream. You must have been there in the Great Pacific. I can see you looking down into the deep blue sea, or perhaps immersed in a bathyscape.

A fine dream, indeed. Let us hope that we take global warming seriously before all the coral reefs are gone.
