Painted Faces

Poem By Ahatisham Alam

There is none who has time
For nothing but love me.
Tears for the pain which I bear for her,
I pine for the eyes which reflect my face.
I want her bereaved of all except me.
Thy world! full of painted faces,
But all deamourous.

An Introduction

I don't wish to introduce myself,
Because reality stirrs my soul.
I am like one,
Who has lost his goal.

Yesterday you were with me,
Today I seek you dear.
Where thy words are?
I pine to hear.

Don'T Read This Poem

I oft say don't read this poem.
Because it has nothing for you to gain.
If you have visited once,
Never read it again.

Aah! A Lamenting Soul

Ever-Existing Love

All the beauty of your heart was like a broken glass.
I am looking for many of it's piece.
Scattered will be collected into one.
Happiness will gradually increase.

Need Of A Friend

My life is painful,
So I need a friend.
My life is in search of a friend.
