Paradise Lost (The 21st Century)

Paradise Lost (The 21st Century)

I am a young girl
Only twenty years old
But I'm dreading the future
When I grow old

There are many annoying things
That are too frustrating;
How there is no love left here anymore
How the world is always hating

Most country leaders only love to rule
And don't care about all the people involved
They just want to shout orders and conquer
And the problems are left unsolved.

I believe that if we thought
The world was really flat
I would have lived and died feeling happy
There wouldn't have been any spit or spat

Each generation would have remained on the land
Never crossing the seas
The continents would have never discovered each other
And the world would have lived in peace.
