Pass On What You Know

Body, you say, or soul,
not understanding the whole.
When worms crawl through your brain
nothing of soul will remain-
there is no separate role.

Flick on the light: It will glow.
Flick it off and it will go.
So, when you die, will your mind,
go out and leave nothing behind
unless you pass on what you know.

And if you know nothing, like me,
you'll simply go pfft! and not be.

You express a valid point well; but the brain is just another organ like the rest. It functions but does not create what is already created (the soul) . You are not what you pass on; you are already you and and will always be. Make sure that you are good.
