Passionate Flower

Poem By Robert L. Bixler III

Flaming petal of lust,
Sweet smell of romance,
This passionate flower of trust
Radiates more with each glance.

The seed was in your eye.
Nurturing fed inferno,
Lively this flower blooms by
The strength your soul does show.

Blazoned in eternity,
This burn shall be
Forever a heartfelt part of me,
Sparked by the beauty I see.

As my heart loudly pounds
Straight posture, her presence cedes
An eloquence that is beyond my slouching bounds.

Trials Of Romanticism

In He walks, perfectly smart,
The one that every man should be.
One glance, He steals many a’ heart.
His finesse does every eye see.

Ghost

Shapeless, shifting fog rolls in.
Aimless, nervous eyes project.
Amorphous solid substance-elect
Becomes all I have been.

Love's Fire

As the cold seeps slowly in
And the warmth once there fades,
How does one continue on?
To move members frozen solid,

Last Breathe

Dead head, molten lead, I have bled.
Captivating eyes, omenous skies, still she lies.
Power in three, terror of me, danger you can see.
Vile magick and you are so tragic.

Surely She Knows

I beckon to the ever rising sun,
Whose dawn casts golden hue,

Surely she knows…
