Past Memories

Poem By Amanda Kieling

The fresh air that I smell,
Brings back memories…
Of camping with the family,
Swimming at sunrise,
That kiss on the cheek,
That game called hide-n-seek.

The smell of…
Just mowed grass,
Mist on the ground,
Salt in the ocean,
A brand new swim suit,
That I just happen to be wearing.

I think of these memories…
Of riding our 4-wheeler in the back yard,
Swinging on a branch in a tree,
Playing across the street with the neighbor kids,
And going to the movies with buddies.

As I have lots more.
That go with all my other memories…
Of playing basketball in the front lawn,
Dancing in front of my mirror,
Listening to songs on the radio.
Parties with pillow fights and scary stories,
Hanging out at school with friends,
And field trip that we used to have.

This is my life,
And my memories.
Of slumber parties at friends
And not to forget…
The time you asked me out.
Of laughter, from my sister, and friends
Big things (giggles) inside joke.
Pets and animals, we owned the past years.
Of tears, for funny, scary, and sad things.

These are the memories worth living for.
They will keep building up, because,
Memories are our life.

The Rose

Life is like a rose
Full of glamour and shine
The color, clear and always true
The pedals, thick and full of life

Life Should Be...

The feeling of free
It's all about me
The wind in your hair
Having the people all care

Torment, Left Behind

They tormentes and harassed us.
They laughed in our faces,
As if it was funny what they were doing,
As if we had no feeling,
