Pennies Not From Heaven
Poem By Lawrence S. Pertillar
What I do to make look a breeze,
May be for you or anyone else...
A storm to run from.
Like the ones who sit,
To brag about what it is they can do.
Not to prove it.
Yet afraid to move a muscle.
If it means they must hustle.
Regardless of the weather.
Rain or shine; day or night.
Or pennies to collect to make a dollar stretch!
With it done to ultimately give away.
