Perfumed

Poem By Lawrence S. Pertillar

Does it really matter,
Who gets picked to sit in halls of fame.
Does it really matter.
And to who or whom,
Where one lives or wears.
With nappy, straight; blond or blue hair.
Does it really matter?
How one sits or eats.
To judge if this done,
Politically correct.
With proper etiquette.

And why has it become important,
For anyone to be that concerned.
To spend one's life wasting time.
When time they don't have...
Being envious of others.
Others doing their best.
Living their lives.
Caring less they've been subjected,
To the foolishness...
Of ongoing inspected tests.
And not finding this to do,
Choosing where to put their nose next.
Or pretending their own butt,
Is and will always stay perfumed.
