Poem Hunter
TP thamoula papayia ( / )

a hard fall
unevenly onto the surface
usually fluid, but not today
those rigid shoulders were not able
to keep him aligned
shattering all composure
poles of opposition
pulling him in two different directions
being torn in more ways than one
attempting to pull free
how does one escape
when being surrounded by the extremes
of darkness and light?
turning to the inside
writhing in his own suicide
of not being able to decide between
life and death
he spins uncontrollably
untouched by any force
but his own demise
finally, stopped
unable to turn his world upright
the blood rushes to his head
not a dropp to spare in his heart
but you pay when you're brave.
