Port Fairy's Claim To Renown

A huge annual musical festival and voted as the World's most Livable Small Town
Are two of Port Fairy's great claims to renown
But only livable for the cashed up millionaire
Poor people in Port Fairy for to say the least rare
But Port Fairy is indeed quite a beautiful place
With rather strong links to Australia's First Race
Though few indigenous people live there today
Going back the decades it was not always this way
Where the dark waters of the Moyne near Griffith Island into the Pacific flow
As a tourist attraction the reputation of Port Fairy does grow
Port Fairy has become known to tourists Worldwide
As a gem in the crown of south west Victoria's coastal countryside
A huge annual music festival and voted as the World's most Livable Small Town
Are two of Port Fairy's claims to renown.
