Poem By Anne Onymous

I lay upon the forest floor
And listened to his voice
My heart echoed in his words
And then, there was no choice
For me, to stay or leave this place?
I'd sail throughout the night!
(And leave behind my life in chains)
Towards the Northern Light

And riding high on love's sweet dream
Possibilites abound
I saw his verse on my return
And fell upon the ground.
I am so tired
Maybe this wine?
That blurs his words to me
'A friend' he says
His choice of words?
Or all that we will be?

A Prince Amongst Men

If only you could see, my Prince
The tears upon my cheek
The joy you’ve bought into my life
You should not ever speak,

I heard his voice! Oh!
Its sang to me!
and with the words that came
A sense of calm washed over me

The Call

He saw your words
And tried to call
I couldn't speak to him
He'll say 'I'm flattered'

Oh Heavenly, Boundless, Rapturous joy!
From this doubt I'm freed!
My heart it sings
my body bathes

I missed my lift from life again
And watched it drive on by
I stood and waved and grimly smiled
and walked the thousand miles
