Power Of Dreams

Poem By Michael Saurer

My lips burned like fire
Though they never touched yours
My heart did nearly retire
During those wondrous tours
To the depths of desire
Where no devil lures

My eyes were clouded by tears
Of endlessly pleasure
I have wished for in years
Perhaps only minds treasure
We handled those gears
To unite without measure

My arms were covered by sweat
And felt so damned weak
Even my back slightly felt wet
During our tour’s peak
Perhaps some would place a bet
That I’m just a freak

I was longing for this touch
To become true
I was feeling quite much
This is for sure
Dreaming’s nature is such
That it feels so pure

The power of a dream
Took me off- guard
Still I wouldn’t scream
If from this I’d part
To make it real, I mean
Not just mind’s art
