Power To The People For M 'Lady Ernestine

In single file the pylons stride
across the open countryside.
They bear their burden easily
providing electricity.
Those thin black lines against the sky
may not be easy on the eye
But we have grown accustomed to
man made intrusions on the view.
Demand for power overrides
the views of the opposing sides
The pylons are unfortunately
an absolute necessity
Which we accept reluctantly
we all need electricity.

I've found another one putting my name at the top again. Thank you so much and I do like this poem, great electrical flow, if I may say so, it sparkles. Hope all is well with you and yours and that your electricity never fails. Blessings. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
