Pretty Girl

Poem By Crystal Arteaga

Pretty girl how perfect she seems?
She laughs and smiles all the time
Has perfect friends
Has perfect boy options
Pretty girl has everything it seems

What you dont know
her smiles and laughs are just fakes
her friends dont know the true her
the boys only like her for her looks

Her family doesn't exist
she arrives home to an empty mansion
she arrives to pain and sorrow
she arrive and looks for a knife
she arrives and looks for the key to the bar

she cuts and slashes
she drinks and drinks
she cries and cries
to sleep comes
she finds time to listen to the machine
saying sorry im with my mistress

she finds more time to go out and party
she drinks more and more and when she arrives
she looks for the knife right by her beside
she cuts agains and then she cries
she awakes and starts on her empty walk
her empty walk to her fake pretty girl life

pretty girl i knew the real you
im sorry i didn't help you soon enough
im sorry you aren't no more
im sorry you did this to yourself
im sorry that's all i can say
