Procrastination

Poem By Marilyn Yvonne Ford

When I was a young girl
I wanted to be a concert pianist
All I needed to do was practice
No hurry
I had lots of time
I’ll just go play

When I became an adult
I wanted to be a doctor or a lawyer
All I needed to do was go to college
No hurry
I still had time
I’ll just go to a movie and dinner

I am now quite old
And in a hurry to still become
Famous
I’ll write a best seller
I can do that
But first I’ll take a nap

Comments about Procrastination

Having enough time seems to be a worry for so many people I know at the moment - what is in the air that time limitation has become such a concern? S.
