Poem By Belquis Barés

Nature delivered me a beautiful gift:
The lawn, covered in a snowy cloak,
Adorns with little clouds the tree
Without leaves, so sadly left behind.

He remains drawn in delight
Opposite my fascinated senses:
In the air, your sigh, hot steam
That I quickly catch in my hands.

For the magic of this white landscape,
The intangible thing to touch, the purpose, I have managed:
To feel your heart in love,
Now waves between my cold hands.

There is something magical to this exposition. Almost as if scattered about....the way the lines...' In the air, your sigh, hot steam that I quickly catch in my hands ' are allusion to; ' Opposite my fascinated senses ' . I was able to visualize this scene.
