Prologue

Poem By Galaxy Trotter

I tried and tried to live a life
Moments of joy and moments of strife
Is it out of reach, the train of goals?
They've crashed my dreams on this woeful night

As thoughts fly by, I tried to grasp
The aches that were grew more and more
The pains that hurt till I couldn't feel
Won't disappear unlike ashes at shore

Not a day goes by where I'm not in awe
Here is my story I've come to know
A lifeless dream or a dreamless life
The psyche of prison, my poems will show

Were You Worth It?

Oh that hazy horrible day
should've stowed my arms away
how would it have turned out

Sat back, cooled down
Dozed off to sleep
Found my own way

Day in day out, lentil-and-bean fodder to chow
Nutrient depletion, like sagging body from tumor
