What can I say to you? How can I retract
All that that fool my voice has spoken -
Now that the facts are plain, the placid surface cracked,
The protocols of friendship broken?
I cannot walk by day as now I walk at dawn
Past the still house where you lie sleeping.
May the sun burn these footprints on the lawn
And hold you in its warmth and keeping.

everything keeps changing; even relationships must change and survive through the test of time and breakdown of protocols.
Though the protocol of friendship is broken down, yet, the process of reconciliation has been made at the end!
What can I say to this? I couldn't retract from what I had done. What came naturally undone was the faith.
At last having read your poems....Sir...I am really blessed...I can see the thoroughfare
I am new to Vikram poems, very catchy and fascinating, indeed!
