Proud

Poem By Jesse Tampa

I was laying there in my misery
She sped up and she said to me

I will destroy you, your essence will be gone
I could decipher this was very wrong

I stopped the motion, I wanted to feel well
Instead I was given the Earth of hell

My request to be taken to another place
Was met with thee outline of the unwritten trace

I came into something instead of being sad
I drank this spritely juice, took away any mad

I fell asleep atop the ninth cloud
Tell me now, now does she feel proud?
