Oh what is our world coming to,
it seems to be such a mess;
With riots, killings, racial wars,
we are living under great stress;
What ever happened to our heritages,
where everyone got along;
When people spent time dancing,
and crooning sweet little songs;
Let us hope we come down to earth again,
and make our lives more worthwhile;
Greeting our neighbors happily,
with a handshake and a smile;
