Quick As If To Quench One's Thirst

If lifetimes have been spent in pretense...
There is no value for reality.
Limitations of fear, greed and conflict,
Isolates like a disease.
And those afflicted...
Insist upon evil and wickedness,
For their survival.
Or the lack of it,
And an appreciation for their existence,
Becomes dismissed!
As easily as extinguishing lives disrespected.
Quick as if to quench one's thirst for blood!
