Poem By Sana Olivia Hernandez

The pouring rain cleans,
It quenches our arid thirst.
I love the pure rain.

Comments about Rain

I have a framed photograph of a young woman in India just after the monsoon rains begin to fall. Her clothes are drenched but her head is thrown back, her eyes closed, her mouth wide open to catch the PURE RAIN. The photo is a perfect illustration of your poem, your poem, of the photo - both show the relief brought by the cleansing rain.
It is most invigorating isn't it :)

Little Brother,
Please don't cry.
Though the world is dying by.
I'll give you wings,

A Storm Approaches

On a hot summer day,
The weather helped me out.
A storm made the sun go away,
The rain ended this drought.

Tough Love

I see my brother.
He is angry.
Filled with an acid rage.
I am higher than him in age.

Flower Shop Story

A single, beautiful,
Pure white rose.
I hold it gently in my hand.
Never expecting light to shine where I stand,

What is justice?
Your enemy's blood?
Would that suffice?
Or would you rather steal what he loves?

I Saw An Old Friend…

I saw an old friend,
And things were just fine.
We were still friends after all…
Or so I thought at the time.
