Ready To Taste Somebody Else's Flavor

Poem By Lawrence S. Pertillar

Most of the time,
I don't know where you are coming from.

'I'm fine with it.
As long as I know where you are,
All the time...
At least I can count on you to provide,
An unchanging stability.'

I'm confused.
Is that good or bad?

'That's good.
Don't you think our differences,
Adds a mystery to our relationship?
Think how boring it would be,
If you knew exactly what made me 'tick'?
You'd be ready to taste somebody else's flavor.'
