Reflection Of Life

Poem By james d nall,jr

Memories of our very eventful pasts
Sometimes, the only thing that lasts
There may come a time, we're bedridden
When we hope, by others, we're forgiven
For trespasses both imagined and real
Or taking advantage of the way they feel
Hoping only for peace and satisfaction
Praying not for an opposite reaction
Making our amends to all of mankind
We strive, so hard, just to find
A single day, of nothing, but happiness
That we'll remember into, our eternal rest
