Reflections

In the vast mirror of your mind
Memories good and bad you find
What wonders open up to you
A vista of the past comes up anew.

School days swiftly and happily pass
Such busy times to be top in class
Cycling and running in the open air
sometimes visiting a country fair

Working in a post office and store
Knowing the customers and much much more.
Advising helping knowing each by name
Just a few recorded in the book of fame.

The memories of that special wedding day
Everything bright and wonderfully gay
another life to share with one you adore
No need to ask for anything more

Happy days spent among the flowers
Gardens to tend, come sun or showers
Lovely neighbours, lots of good friends
Taking the best that life and love sends.
