Regrets, Regrets, Regrets

Regrets, regrets, regrets
When you were still breathing,
What was I thinking?

Regrets, regrets, regrets
When you asked me to stay,
Why did I run away?

Regrets, regrets, regrets
Your laughter, stuck in my head
And the last thing you said

Regrets, regrets, regrets
Seeing you for the last time so sick and tired
Like a little child, I cried

Regrets, regrets, regrets
I should have taken care of you
If only I had known God will be taking you

I guess what I want to say is
I'm sorry for my shortcomings
We'll just never know when we'll die
And leave our loved ones to cry
