Religious Sacrifice

So write it on my epitaph
'And the last tear falls.'
Under my unrighteous name,
So I can feel the agony,
In my grave
Of knowing that no one has been changed,
No one knows my suicide was for them.
Inspiration never comes from death,
Even when your life was perfect.
So chew slowly on the thorns that,
You throw down on my tomb
Then your blood will clense all my sins
Because your christian beliefs
Seem to lift spirits higher,
Even though you lie worse than
Any other.
I just wanted you to see
That I'm no different than you,
But after everything I did,
You still will never
Leave your pews and rows.

'chew slowly on the thorns' Once again i am enthralled by your phrasing courtney and 'inspiration never comes from death'. I look forward to reading more.
