Poem By Stacey Gibbs

Thoughts of death
shiver through my body.
Darkness clouds my mind
while I slowly fall to the ground.

My lifeless body lays on the ground
in a pool of blood.
No longer am I am to
laugh, love, or be heard.

Through my death
you will remember me.
You will remember, you will remember
what it was like to be my friend.

If there was one thing that you could do
would you take your life, so I could live?
Remember me, oh please remember
that I loved you!

No second thoughts before knowing

It’s too loud out here.
Wanna go upstairs?
Sure, lead the way.

Desire And Fulfillment

I never knew that I could feel this way
especially about one person.
The feel overwhelms me
with such intensity.

I walk by several students on my way to class
No one stops me to say “hello” or ask “how I’m doing”
I feel as if no one realizes that I am here
Especially when someone knocks my books out of my hands and doesn’t help

The Mask

You think you know me
but you don’t
I’m always happy
but inside, I’m falling apart
