Resistance

Poem By Missy Lynn

I am non-resistant to
Selling shoes at low prices
I am non-resistant to
Obesity
I am non-resistant to
Large shopping malls
I am non-resistant to
Technology
I am non-resistant to
The future and what it holds
But I am resistant to
Slavery the, evils of the world
I am resistant
To trusting material things
I am resistant
To western civilization
I am resistant to
A life without dignity
I am resistant
To becoming one of a
Crowd of unbelievers
I am non-resistant to
God
I am American

(wind) Stealing The Calm Of Night

The calm of night is rustled
By gentle voices upon the breath of wind
The stillness that covers crackled under
The feet of evening’s bitterest gust

Trust Is

Trust is
A light that shines in your eyes
Bright and flickering
As a candle in the breeze

A Doofus Is Killing My Frienship

Do you know the feeling
That it is to lose a friend?
To have someone so close
Shatched away?

Out reach out stretched hand
Mercifully clinging to life
Do not let it slip

Feminism

Sweat beads down my face
90 degrees Toiling over fire
I never complained in this
(I cook, I clean)
