Rest In Peace

The moment I was born,
There was joy in the world for you.
So why is it,
That even though there were love and happiness,
There were also hardships and disagreements?
And I'll alwasys remember
The tears of disappointment we shed.
And now that you're gone,
My regrets come crashing down onto me.
I never should've said the things I said.
I regret the times I hit you and hurt you.
So if you're out there somewhere,
I forgive you for all the things you've done.
And please forgive me for all the things I've done.
Please forgive me. I apologize.
Rest. In. Peace.
