Poem Hunter
JD ( / )

sleep away the fear for us
lather rinse retreat
fossilized and only bone
in error and discreet

these shells are made of paper hearts
the sea is wasted on tears
so sorrow is no god to name
so anger has no fear

i wonder
when the dead are sleeping
does the thunder still hold weight
to empty all the thought from treason
to empty all the hate
