I look down to see a jagged cracked path shooting into the distance, a path I have been walking for many years.
by Lewis Osborne
my companion, whom walked the same path seemed to have disappeared when the biggest dent of all lay under my feet, it seems he was chosen to leave the path while the rest of us stumble on a seamless journey.
We fall into the hard unforgiving road and with every descent, we feel twice as much as the previous. Landing harder and faster on the naked cracks in the path with no sympathy from onlookers or friends, life is too short to dwell on a single collapse, and so, we must move on, all hoping to find the blissful exit to this grey grey road.
