Poem By Sarah Capella Smith

Born on rims and edges.
Inches; the way they spread and weave
A time that cannot be touched.

Two breaths: -
By skin, by bone.
Shattered, stupid science.

Capsule. Cocoon.
A reeling snowball
Passes through a spoke-less wheel.

A rootless flower stems.
A faceless balloon knots its breath.
Low, pale, faint; the voices hush.
