Sailing Home

Poem By Monica Paris

Sailing upon smooth waters,
No turbulence.
Water, clear as glass.
The wind as it blows
is like having your fingers in my hair.
The warm sun on my face,
Is like your breath caressing my cheek
I’m missing your touch.
Casting my sails your way,
I am coming home.
A star that wears your name,
is lending me direction,
the brightest in all the sky.
The water rocks me gently,
lulling my sea soaked soul.
Your hearts the harbor...
I dock in.
I lower my anchor once and for all...
inside the heart I’ll forever call home.

Falling In Love With You

Sometimes I wish I'd never met you
so I wouldn't have to feel this way

Every time I see you

What A Wonderful Night

you whisper in my ear, I'm ready, no fear

I'm lost, your eyes, together we lie

My Beautiful Drug Addiction

I have something I need to confess to you.

I’m an addict with an addiction to a beautiful drug

You Broke Me

I swore I’d never fall.

But when I look into your eyes
I see your love for me.

Wish You Were Here

The seasons are changing
and it’s times like these.

That I wish you were here
