Come Here Soon

yes, what can i say
of sunflowers and sun
soon after the rain is gone,
of a love windward thrown,
of a voice i can't forget?

yes, damn me God if i can't say:

come here soon
all trees of the last setting,
come sweet words
of the afternoon that was
between sun and sea!
