Poem By Sherrian Howard

I hear a voice
It is calm
like the air you don't see or hear
in a satisfied moment in time
A given day you decide to do something
as you go to perform the onus
it says don't do it
You look around
no one's there
You think... I'm hearing things
You know the chatterbox it talks all the time
This voice is quite...says little
When you have finished an endeavor
cold chills run down your back
like a feather caressing you
you know the task is done
You See things know one else sees
Are you trying to conceal the veil you
were born with
until death do us part

My Comrade

My soul is a powerful force
Love it connects with
One doesn't get old it remains the same
Always close than near
