Shades Of Autumn

As the Autumn leaves begin to fall.
With their colors on display.
Red, orange, brown & yellow,
All prepared in God's own way. Bare the branches, brown n' empty,
trees with arms raised to the sky.
Knowing a few months of slumber,
Will refresh them by and by. 'Tis a rest for God's creation,
In a gaudy celebration. As the birds begin their flying,
Some beasts look for a bed.
'Tis time to gather in the harvest,
Get ready for the days ahead. With the winter winds ablowing,
Mid the falling snow & rain.
We can rest in full assurance
That the earth will bloom again. 'Tis a rest for God's creation,
From that gaudy celebration.
