Shadows

Not every one gets cut by the rose
But we all bleed the same
I walk the side of the road
She walks the edge of the day

If she’s wrapped up in solitude might change her attitude
Follow her shadows down to the shore
Wrapped in solitude wont change her attitude
She won’t reach the end im sure

Not every man has his day
Our fifteen minuets of fame
But I walk the side of the road
She walks the edge of the day

Now we’ll have to wait she’s hurt herself again
No one should have to take that holly’s killed herself again
Not for the first time

Very interesting write...a simple narrative with a darker undertone. Really enjoyed it! 10 from me.
