Shalom

Poem By Marianne Bogolub

I think it is the warmest greeting in the world.
A belt surrounding and including all the nations.
A "salutation" of courtesy and goodwill!
Be still, be silent, be quiet,
My Brother, my sister, my Child.
I'll explain it to you:
"SHALOM, SHALOM"
means Independence and Freedom
To One and to All.
I think it is a cordial greeting
And should be famous and recognized
in this World.
So, let it be oh God a Prayer!
The holiest and most important
message, to Everyone and
Everywhere on the Earth,
Oh God, let it be heard.
