She's The One

Poem By Sranang Bromki

I’m watching her sleeping
Her face speaks of peace
No snoring, just calm breathing
Reflections of a soul at ease

Her right hand resting on my thighs
Following my every move
I wonder where she’s at right now
Has she invited me into her dreams?

I’m looking at her, realizing
That’s she’s the one
Providing me this all exclusive love
The kind of love that sets me free

She’s the one bringing me happiness
Or strength when facing fears
The one whose intelligence sometimes surprises me
Whose femininity makes me weak

I’m still looking at her
Caught by the expression on her face
Waiting for that first morningkiss
Or that simple smile saying a thousand words

Goodmorning baby
Goodmorning sweetheart
We have yet another day in front of us
Another day to share our love!

Sister, my sister
Why is it that you speak so loud?
Is it your way to be noticed?
Or your way to make yourself count?

De Confrontatie

Spiegeltje, spiegeltje aan de wand,
Nooit eerder was er tussen ons zo’n afstand
Dagelijks dwing je mij in jou te kijken,
Maar nee, daar begin ik liever niet aan
