Shortenings

It started with of course I will.
And was shortened to all right.
But now the next few shortenings.
Would be like a bird going out of sight.
We looked for the fewer letters.
To answer a question or a test.
Then we ended up with just three, our now immortal yes.
but it seems even that will change.
Even though it's hard to do.
Our once easy three has been cut down to two.
OK is a well used term, we hear it everyday.
But that wasn't easy enough. now we're just down to K.
K, a single letter to explain so very much.
I hope it does not shrink again.
It will be out of minds grasp and touch.
