Should Have Been His Crown

Poem By Mandy MMR

Precious stones inlaid in gold
Should have been his crown
But they decided on something different
A choice that would make most frown
A crown of thorns was chosen
They forced it onto his head
Sharp points of pain took their toll
'Forgive them, Father, ' he said
The pain was there
The damage was done
The blood had pooled
They thought it was fun
Precious stones inlaid in gold
Should have been his crown

Help me, oh please!

Outside And Alone

Walking that day, outside and alone
Hoping to catch that scent of cologne

Praying to hear that small, sweet voice

Did He really die?
Did He do it for me?
Why did He do it
For a sinner like me?

Saved From The Pits Of Hell

Saved from the pits of hell
Saved from its firy dwell
All is right and well
Of His grace I'll tell
