Should Have Known

Poem By Heather Biscoe

Was he everything you wanted
maybe no after all
he broke your heart
shattered it in a million pieces
baby you thought you had it all
now you're alone for the first time
your heart hurts and the tears you cry
at night keep you up
so you can't dream
haunts your soul
he told you, you were beautiful
and that he loved you
all of them filthy lies
and you my Love
belived every one
til he broke you, so far down
left you there to bleed
until you learned to hate
fell so far down
and now your soul
is broken and fallen

Meeting An Angel

I saw the face
of an angel today
a smile that could break you
a laugh that could heal you

Standing In The Rain

The rain comes down harder
I stand there watching you leave
nothing I do, or say
is ever good enough

Only A Moment

Dreams are for those without a soul
who waste away to nothing
at the end of the day
when they realize they have nothing

Beautiful Fate

We were so young
all we had was time
the moments flew by
we didn't even notice

Someone To Save Me

I sit here
with a bottle of Bacardi
in my hand
as the sky turns dark

The rain falls down
and tonight
I find myself alone
a cup of coffee
