Should I Remain

Poem By David J. Pipkin

Should I remain the same
or should I change
from birth I was trained
that life for some remain
the same for this must be so
those who tell you go
with the flow
for in life they do not grow
this I do know
know so why not our minds
we retrain get aboard the learn train
no I will not remain in the same
old lane age is not factor
at all nor does it matter
big or small the thing we learn
sometimes will do
make life a new
after opening my eyes
to a different view
for this I will tell you
I will learn something new and obtain
my life shall not be the same.
